About Ellen Downes
Ellen is a teacher, curator and artist based in Bristol, UK.
Based at Maze Studios, she is spending the spring of 2022 planning her next Every Body’s Story exhibition following a successful 2021 show at Centrespace Gallery as featured on the BBC.
Every Body’s Story is a project to celebrate the diversity of women’s bodies and create a space and platform to share their stories.
Her work explores community, sustainability and social justice with a focus on storytelling and creative collaboration.
